Linda Stinnett
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and School
Communications and Presentation Design
Linda Stinnett has served as the bookkeeper at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and School since 2012. She provides accounts payable and business support functions for the school. In past years, she also served as the church treasurer in a volunteer role. Linda’s nonprofit experience gives her a strong understanding for her accounting role for the past four years with The Mama Ada Foundation.
Linda was first introduced to The Mama Ada Foundation when she was working at St. Mark’s. She learned that many children cannot receive a higher level education because of the financial hardship that Kenyan families face. At this time, Linda was the primary caregiver for her granddaughter and understood the challenges. Her gratitude for the financial aid that she received for Bethany to attend school inspired her to give back to The Mama Ada Foundation.
Prior to joining St. Mark’s, Linda worked as the bookkeeper and treasurer for Paradise Villas Condominium Association as well as the bookkeeper assistant to the comptroller at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She also has accounting experience with several insurance agencies.
Linda has served extensively in youth ministry and assisted with the ministry bookkeeping functions. She has also served as a Eucharistic Visitor, Sunday school teacher, and superintendent.
